Intl. Children’s Film Festival,

Tel Aviv Cinematheque

I was honored to be part of the International Children's Film Festival at the Tel Aviv Cinematheque, where I was tasked with designing both commercial materials and the leading illustration for the event. The theme of the festival was particularly exciting, as it coincided with the 100th anniversary of Georges Méliès' iconic film Le Voyage dans la Lune (A Trip to the Moon).

To celebrate this cinematic milestone, I was asked to create an image that would capture the spirit of Méliès' groundbreaking 1902 film, while also connecting with the young audience attending the festival. My illustration reimagined the fantastical elements of the original film, using a playful, imaginative style that would resonate with children while also paying homage to Méliès' visionary work. The illustration featured a whimsical, dreamlike journey to the moon, with elements inspired by the film’s famous rocket-ship scene and the playful sense of adventure. This visual was paired with the festival’s branding to create cohesive promotional materials, including posters, flyers, and digital assets.
