Cover Illustration for a Literary Magazine
I was commissioned to create the cover illustration for Moznaim, a literary magazine, with the theme "The Most Expensive City in the World." The challenge was to visually interpret this concept in a way that captured both the literal and symbolic aspects of urban luxury, excess, and the power dynamics within a global city.
For the cover, I created a collage that centered around a playful reinterpretation of one of the city’s most iconic landmarks—Menashe Kadishman's famous sculpture, Uprise. By reimagining this work, I wanted to evoke a sense of tension between the elevated status of the city and the often surreal nature of its economic landscape.
